The Konica Minolta Magicolor 1650EN is a color laser printer designed for the home or small office user.  It offers excellent color printing quality at an affordable price and in a compact design.  Network integration is a nice bonus.

The Konica Minolta 1650EN has a very compact design and a small footprint.  It measures 10.9 inches by 15.6 inches by 15 inches and weighs 32 pounds.  It is worth noting that these measurements don’t take input and output trays into account, so it will take up a little more space.  Despite its small frame, it has a decent amount of paper capacity, with 200 sheet capacity in a single tray.  It also has a built-in ethernet port for connecting directly to a network.  It can be easily shared across a small network of computers.  It also includes a USB port for connecting directly to a single computer.

The printer supports modern versions of Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.  It can handle a large variety of media types, including recycled paper, labels, envelopes, postcards, transparencies, and letterhead.

Konica Minolta 1650EN toner cartridges have a capacity of 2,500 pages each in the high-capacity versions.  Users can save on toner costs by using third-party compatible Konica Minolta Magicolor 1650EN toner cartridges instead of the more expensive OEM Konica Minolta 1650EN toner cartridges.  The printer also has a Toner Save mode which reduces toner consumption by as much as 40%, making it a very economical choice.

MIDASLONG Konica Minolta Magicolor 1650EN

Print quality is excellent.  Text is very sharp and detailed, though some very small font sizes lose clarity or have missing lines.  Color quality is generally very good, with accurate colors.  Graphics quality is average, with only a few minor problems.

Overall, the Konica Minolta 1650EN is a good choice for a networked office that needs high quality color printing without the high costs.  Its small frame makes it a good fit for tight office spaces.
