MIDAS300 OKI C9600

The Okidata C9600 is a color LED printer capable of printing large formats like tabloids and has a mid range price of $2,400.00; the Oki 9600 is a single pass LED printer enabling faster prints.

Pairing the 720 MHz processor with a minimum of 256 MB of RAM, 1 GB max, produces all of your documents in less time and in better clarity, and the OkidataC9600 has an additional 4 MB of Flash memory. Large format printers need to be on the network in work groups and the Okidata C9600 is equipped with Ethernet connections for networking as a standard feature on all of the series models as well as USB and parallel ports. A 20 GB hard drive and auto-duplexing is included on the Okidata C9600hdn, optional on lower models, model for quick access to client color schemes, specialty fonts or for secure printing.

A straight paper path ensures that large and oddly sized paper is printed accurately and without incident; this also helps with printing on heavier paper stock. The OKI C9600 can handle the large format paper, such as Executive and Tabloid Extra, but what will it cost to print? At around 40% coverage the device prints color pages at close to $.16 page, but depends entirely upon the complexity of the document. Color documents can be printed as fast as 36 pages per minute, depending upon complexity and coverage, and monochrome prints at about 40 pages per. Coupled with a monthly duty cycle of 120,000 pages should suit any small to medium work group.

MIDASLONG OKI C9600

Being compatible with a number of operating platforms, producing average cost per page and great processing speeds the OKI C9600 is one of the best choices for a large format printer but the end user may need to spend a bit more for the higher end models and finishing options like staplers and mail box sorters.
